SWEAT App

Before I begin this post I need to make something VERY clear. This post is not about how much weight I have lost or how great my body is because quite frankly neither of those statements are true. Health has absolutely nothing to do with how you look but how you FEEL. I did not start this app with the intention of ending up with a super model body but because I felt like crap and needed to do something about it. So wherever you may be in your health journey know that I am not posting this to make anyone feel bad, to brag about how in shape I am, etc. I just want to share the importance of health and how it can help you physically AND mentally.
OKAY with that out of the way we can begin to dive into all of the great features this app has to offer! To start off I want to talk about pricing and the different options you have. You can pay monthly, the option I chose, although if you are pretty certain you are going to stick with it, the yearly option will save you some money! You can do $19.99/month or $119.94/year, which saves you a significant amount in the long run. Both options aren't bad and if you compare the rates to a gym membership they are pretty equal. The great thing about the app, however, is that you don't have to leave your house.
Which leads me into the next great thing about this app! All of the workouts can be done with minimal equipment. Pretty much all I use everyday are low weights, a bench (or something to step up on), and a jump rope. That's what I love about it! You are mostly using all of your own body weight to make yourself stronger which not only makes it easier but in my opinion has proved to be more effective for me, personally.
The app also includes suggested meals/snacks for everyday, many of which I don't follow to a t, but are helpful to guide you in your food choices. I am a total foodie and a lot of the reason I work out so hard is so I have the choice to indulge every once in a while. What I have realized though is that making healthy choices 75% of the time, allows me to not feel that crappy food guilt feeling. Something that I think we all struggle with. I have also upped my water intake which I think has had a lot to do with how much better I feel as well. Again, my intention with this app was to feel better overall, not to lose weight. Everyone will have their own personal goals and everyone will adjust the food, exercises, etc. to their own lifestyle.
Another great perk about this program is the flexibility it allows. There are 6 days of workouts but if for some reason you needed to only do 4, you are able to adjust the workout schedule to fit your calendar!
The best way to figure out if this app will work for you is to try the free trial! It gives you a period of time to have access to all of the programs free of charge and will give you a pretty good idea of if it will work for you or not.
I had an overwhelming amount of you wanting my opinion on this app and why I was loving it so much so I hope this gave you some insight into some of the reasons why I have continued using it. I have more energy now than I have in a long time, I am in great shape, and I don't let my workouts or my meals consume my life. If you have any questions at all please feel free to contact me and I will be more than happy to help you!
